Italian Ryder Cup star Costantino Rocca (2007 Irish Senior Open Champion and Kingdom of Barhain Champion) European Tour member with 7 wins, many top-ten and a second place at the Open Championship, has opened his own Golf Academy at Golf Club Gerre Losone (Ticino-Maggiore Lake-Switzerland).
Costantino’ s desire was to open his first Academy inside a golf course placed in a touristic region, with beautiful serroundings and easy to reach from Italy, Switzerland, Germany and northern Europe the region of Maggiore Lake and Locarno is all that. Golf Club Gerre Losone is located 3 km from Locarno, 2 km from Ascona and the Lake.
Starting from February January 2008, Costantino Rocca Golf Academy® will manage the golf school inside Golf Club Gerre Losone which is built a new driving range reserved to the Academy. The new facility offers to golfers the up-to-date swing analysis technology as well as 3 practice holes, a chipping and bunker area and a huge putting green.
Costantino Rocca and Prestige Partners SA goal is the opening of affiliated Academies in Switzerland and other Countries already during year 2008.
